Natalie Sleik
Natalie Sleik is dedicated to helping others find balance, strength, and a sense of comfort in their wellness journey. As an E-RYT® 500 and YACEP® certified yoga teacher, she has spent nearly 20 years on the mat, exploring and refining her practice in vinyasa yoga and Hot 26. Her yoga journey has taken her from the beaches of South Florida to the Mountains of Western North Carolina, and she is thrilled to share her extensive knowledge and experience.
Natalie began with a 200-hour certification at Yoga Joint in Fort Lauderdale, where she had the privilege of training with Paige Held and Kelly Green. This experience led her to deepen her practice with a 300-hour certification in the Barkan Method under the guidance of Jimmy Barkan. Along the way, she also completed the Expand 26 program with Adi Westerman, further expanding her understanding and appreciation of yoga.
Beyond yoga, Natalie has dedicated nearly a decade to helping others achieve their fitness goals as a Certified Personal Trainer. Her expertise extends to being an Ayurvedic Nutritionist and a Health and Nutrition Life Coach. Whether individuals are looking to boost their energy with the right foods or find a holistic approach to health, Natalie is there to guide them with practical advice and support.
She believes in the power of variety to keep fitness fun and engaging. This belief has led her to train in various fitness modalities, including Pilates, Strength and Conditioning, Advanced Kettlebell Training, P90X, HIIT, Tabata, Bodyweight Training, TRX, and Barre. No matter one’s fitness level or preference, Natalie can find something that works for them.
When not teaching or practicing yoga, Natalie enjoys spending time in the kitchen crafting nutritious, whole foods meals, or in the garden tending to her plants. Cooking and gardening are her ways of connecting with nature and nurturing her body and soul. It’s all about balance in her approach to life and wellness.
Life is not just about fitness and nutrition for Natalie – it’s also about family. She is blessed with a loving husband and two wonderful kids who keep her grounded and remind her of what’s truly important. Together, she and her husband run a successful HVAC business called N&M Heating and Cooling, and she is proud of the work they do to keep their community comfortable and safe in the Asheville area’s cold winters and hot summers.
Natalie invites everyone to join her on the path towards balance, better health and wellness. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or you’re a seasoned yogi, there is always something new to discover as well as new ways to evolve your practice. With her guidance, individuals can explore, grow, and find joy in every moment.
