Monroe discovered Bikram Yoga in 2009 as a means to lose weight and tone her body. Little did she know that it would soon become more than just a fitness routine – it became a lifestyle. As she continued practicing, Monroe experienced the transformative power of Bikram Yoga, not only physically but mentally as well. Anxiety and depression were replaced with mental strength, clarity, and a newfound love for her body.
In 2021, Monroe decided to deepen her practice by attending yoga teacher training. Equipped with the knowledge and passion she gained, she began teaching at YAM in 2022. Monroe’s dedication and commitment to sharing the benefits of Bikram Yoga with others is evident in her classes. Her teaching style focuses on creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students can grow both physically and mentally.
